Why we invested

Can you imagine a society where all people have access to affordable food and basic goods? Nilus is a startup that bets on it. Knowing the cause, we fell in love with it, but when we had the opportunity to talk with Ady Beitler we were convinced that we could not miss the chance of investing in this company.

There is a fact that shocked us: 1.3 billion tons of food are wasted in a world where, simultaneously, more than 2 billion people don’t have enough money to get food. Ady and his team recognized a powerful impact instrument on the market. The potential for social transformation is clear, while in the environmental field, its circular model comes with great waste reduction potential.
